Pencil Plant Sculptures Draw the Viewer In

I think the only "art" I created with a pencil was creating miniature slingshots to fire rubber bands. I was pretty proud of those. Jennifer Maestre’s Pencil Plant Sculptures however are a few notches above my creations, designing entire replicas of plants out of pencil particles.

Using mainly the tips of pencils, she gives the plants curves and forms that seem impossible to produce.

These Pencil Plant Sculptures will make you put down the tracing paper and start cutting up some pencil crayons to create some true art.
