Fluid Modern Stools

Trio by Andrea Quiros-Balma is a Jointless Design

At first glance, Trio is a modern stool that appears to have been inspired by a flower of some sort. It boasts a fluid form that comes together like pedals to create the seat portion. Although aesthetically pleasing, the design of the modern stool is actually inspired by its construction. A perfect balance between function and form, it is completely jointless, which makes it quite interesting.

Designed by Andrea Quiros-Balma, a recent graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design and currently based in New York City, the modern stool can be dissembled with ease when not needed or a person is on the move. Made out of wood, its sculptural shape can be softened with a cushion. Virtually perfect for any space, the modern stool is great for many occasions.
