Hosted at the Milwaukee Art Museum is the Meadow exhibition by DRIFT. It is full of motifs that reflect the warmth of the Spring season and bright signs of life. The atrium of the Quadracci Pavilion is turned into this bright kinetic garden representative of Spring. Meadow continues the studio's work of fusing art and technology together and it is inspired by the museum's organic architecture and North American wildflowers.
The art and nature elements blend together here in an immersive light and motion. This is the second version of the museum's seasonal Winter series which kicked off last year. DRIFT develops research of kinetic blooms to create Meadow with materials including bright fabrics, robotic elements, aluminum, and stainless steel.
