This live art piece entitled 'X-Fois Gens Chaise' or X-Times People Chair is attempting to reinvent familiar locations, taking place anywhere from a train station to above a busy street.
Exploring ideas of floatation, Hiesel attaches a chair to the facade of a building and then has performers between the ages of 60 to 70 sit high above the street. The performers then continue to do banal activities, from knitting to having a snack. Then, once their performance is done, the seniors simply climb down the chair without any acknowledgement of their jaw-dropping stunt.
