La Maison de la Batellerie on the Seine was in much need of a revamp. Architecture firm JB Lacoudre took on the job, and the building is now transformed with a transparent facade that allows visitors to look out on the Seine, and take in the beautiful surroundings.
The goal of this project was to merge the old with the new, since this building has been around since the 1950s. JB Lacoudre wanted to keep the heritage, so instead of building something that obstructed the surroundings of the piece, they kept things simple with a non-obtrusive look.
