Quirino Designed the Rotating Minimal Orbit Light for Gantri

Monterrey-based design studio Quirino designed the captivating Orbit table light for San Francisco-based platform Gantri. Gantri dedicates itself to producing 3D-printed lighting pieces with a highlighted attention to design. Its recent piece boasts a minimal design aesthetic and draws a strong inspiration from the natural rotation of planets. The table light imitates this, as it can be easily rotated at its base foundation to direct a certain flow of light around the environment, changing the shadows like the planets around the sun.

Additionally, the Orbit table light can also rest of its flat base to emit a softer ambient uplight. The piece is 3D-printed using corn-based polylactic acid and finished with a soft matte exterior. There are three colorway options in total -- Fog, Carbon and Snow.
