MoDus Architects Reveal the Fieldhouse Sports Center in Italy

The Fieldhouse sports center is a new socially focused recreational venue in Laghetti, a small mountainous South Tyrolean town in Italy. The structure, which captures the eye with its geometric expression and its subtle balance between modernist and brutalist aesthetics, was designed by the Italian studio MoDus Architects. The practice designed this project with openness, accessibility, and flexibility in mind. The structure overlooks a national park as it is located at the base of Mount Corno and it is meant to serve as a leisure and social space for the community.

The Fieldhouse sports center contains various important amenities like a bar, changing rooms with bathrooms, as well as both indoor and outdoor sports facilities.
