The DFAB HOUSE Was Built with the Aid of 3D Printers and Robotics

The recently finished DFAB HOUSE sets a precedent for the future of architecture and design as a first-of-its-kind house that was digitally planned and also built digitally with the help of robots and 3D printers. The innovative three-storey structure was created by ETH Zurich researchers with the assistance of over 30 industrial partners.

While the exterior of the building embraces the use of angular lines, the interior of the house features an intricate concrete ceiling and other details that could only have been created with the aid of technology.
