Deliveroo's New Partnerships Will Enable It to Deliver Alcohol

Deliveroo's new partnerships with companies like Majestic Wines and BrewDogs aim to add alcohol to its list of deliverable goods. The London-based startup has previously only offered restaurant delivery as its service, but now consumers will also be able to order from 20 BrewDog locations and eight Majestic Wines shops.

Deliveroo boasts an average 20 minute delivery time for consumers. Food and now alcohol are delivered to the consumer's home or office by motorbike or push-bike. While the CEO and co-founder Will Shu said, "The food delivery start up has always had alcohol on its mind," the addition comes at the same time as the launch of UberEats in London. Deliveroo's new partnerships with the beverage companies will enable it to keep a niche position in the food delivery market by being able to offer the delivery of food and alcohol to consumers.
