VR horror games are often the best depictions of terror in video games but Bring to Light steps up the intensity by allowing players to engage with the game using a heart rate monitor. Developed by Red Meat Games, this unique horror experience includes a piece of medical technology as a means of keeping the pace of the game frantic and filled with plenty of scares.
The use of a heart rate monitor in Bring to Light is entirely optional but when it is in use the game shines brightest. Essentially, the game measures a player's heart rate which then relays information to the AI to either increase the horror or decrease it. The AI in the game also tracks player's heart rates and experience with the game in order to create experiences other players can enjoy.
