Described as 'an urban toy' and a 'game' by the designers, Alisa Andrasek and Jose Sanchez, the installation invites passersby to have a little fun and play with the bright pink branches that make up the entire creation.
Commissioned by the Greater London Authority to celebrate the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic games, the Bloom art installation seeks to feed off of the bonding people are currently experiencing as they tune in for the biggest sporting events in the world. The designers write, "The collective act of coming to one place and building something becomes a shared memory for each person attending."
