Interlocking Residential Towers

OMA Designs Beach Residencies in Miami Beach for the First Time

A slew of new beach residencies will be available in Miami Beach, Florida after architecture studio OMA envisioned a slick and contemporary "tiered residential structure with interlocking towers." The development is officially named 'The Perigon' and it will border two separate waterfronts—both the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Creek.

OMA prioritized visual aesthetics, comfort, and panoramic views when designing the tiered beach residencies. Although the towers carry some similarities, OMA delivers "a subtle contrast in shape between the towers" to create some visual curiosity. At its tallest point, the development will reach 17 stories. Each unit will enjoy a "softly curved patio" that opens up to striking waterfront views and the refreshing oceanic air.
