Animatronic Movie Promotions

Animatronic Foods Were Placed in a Store to Promote 'Sausage Party'

To creatively promote the new 'Sausage Party' movie, Seth Rogen placed animatronic foods in a grocery store to interact with customers.

Seth Rogen used animatronic foods to show that food has feelings as a promotional stunt for his new movie 'Sausage Party.' Rogen was the voice for all of the animatronic food used in the publicity stunt and interacted with customers through a microphone. The animatronic foods featured latex exteriors, internal batteries, hidden speakers, RF receivers for remote control operation and mechanisms to control the mouth and eyes of the fake food.

Rogen, with the help of his writing team, would engage with customers as they perused the grocery store. Many of the customers were a bit startled by the food suddenly talking to them. Fusing humor and technology, this movie promotion provided audiences with an experience that was immersive and memorable.
