British writer J.K. Rowling continues to make headlines after releasing a short story on her dedicated Harry Potter website, giving just one out of many reasons to visit Pottermore from time to time. Taking the form of an article by Rita Skeeter, which details what the Potter gang is like all-grown up, it brings to mind all of the other entertaining spin-offs created in honor of one of the most successful franchises to date.

Although these parodies, video games and theme parks are not direct reasons to visit Pottermore, they are proof that fun nuggets are released on the Internet from time to time. J.K. Rowling is not the only one who delights fans so thoroughly. Fans great at doing that themselves.
