The Nina Ricci F/W 2009 ankle boots were editorial darlings this year. Although the heel-less platform boots are almost impossible to walk in, the ankle boots showed up in so many spreads it was difficult to keep track. Stars such as Jennifer Connelly, Lady Gaga and Diane Kruger wore them for fashion features in Fall 2009 magazines and model Natasha Poly wore a glittering pink pair for a demonic shoot in Muse magazine.
