Zara's self-serving kiosks will be launching in select stores, offering consumers the opportunity to efficiently pickup orders they placed online.
Consumers will receive a notification once their ordered package has arrived at a kiosk. After a notification has been received, the customer can pickup the item at their own convenience, making for a more leisurely experience than most, as the in-store component eliminates designated time slots and limited post office hours.
One of the kiosks, supplied by the technology company Cleveron, can store up to 4,000 packages at a time, offering the consumer a reliable and streamlined experience. Currently, the kiosk is available in one store, but the brand plans to expand the concept to multiple locations in the following year.
