X2 By Giorgio Caporaso Boasts a Sustainable Organic Silhouette

X2 By Giorgio Caporaso, an industrial designer based in Varese, Italy, is a chair and chaise lounge that boasts a stunning sinuous shape, which could easily be compared to that of a slug or even a caterpillar standing on a leaf. Although ultimately abstract in design, it has an organic appearance that brings to mind such lifeforms.

Great for both indoor and outdoor use, X2 By Giorgio Caporaso is made with both efficiency and sustainability in mind. The original design was created out of cardboard, yet the latest iteration is carved out of one of two types of wood. Either way, the chair and lounge are made with as little material as possible, evidenced by the round cutouts that help keep it lightweight. Not to mention that every part of it is biodegradable.
