Psychedelic Acrylic Hallways

This Surreal Installation is an Alice in Wonderland-Inspired Corridor

This mesmerizing Alice in Wonderland-inspired tunnel was created within the V&A Museum in London by designers Matteo Fogale and Laetitia de Allegri. The entire hallway was lined with sheets of colorful acrylic that ranged from blues to pinks. The corridor was lined with these sheets that each had a hole cut out in the center to allow people to pass through.

The floors were also remixed using tiles that gradually changed color as the path unfolded. Each set of tiles were injected with a three percent color increase to subtly alter one’s perspective.

The 'Mise-en-abyme' installation is set up at a bridge that connects the museum's Medieval and Renaissance sculpture galleries. The unique Alice in Wonderland-inspired hallway is an experiential design that will be part of the annual London Design Festival from September 19th until the 27th.
