Lattice Facade Twin Homes

A Swedish Architect Couple Designed Two Twin Homes With Unique Facades

Andreas Lyckefors and Josefine Wikholm are the architect couple behind the twin homes in Gothenburg, Sweden. The two architects designed and built themselves a home with a decorative lattice facade with a matching property next door. Their home is dubbed the Villa Timmerman. Its neighboring twin home is designed for private sale.

Villa Timmerman is located in the south of Gothenburg, near the sea. The couple deiced to make both homes identical in design. They are distinguished only by their orientation; otherwise, the floor plans are mirrored. According to Lyckefors, the couple "tried different layouts but came up with a scheme that worked really well in both directions." The semi-detached homes allow the architects to create a cost-and space-efficient scheme.
