Since people are looking for different ways to go trick or treating this year, Reese's is introducing the Trick- or-Treat Door to support safe candy deliveries this Halloween. The Trick-or-Treat Door was devised as a "robotic, social-distancing option" that brings candy directly to doorsteps. As Reese's describes, "Your only job? Say "trick or treat" after the Trick-or-Treat Door arrives at your doorstep and enjoy your Reese's treats!" Saying the magic words treats candy lovers to a king-size Reese's candy bar, which appears through a mail slot from a retractable shelf.
The robotic door is remote controlled and it announces its arrival with a theatrical show of smoke, lights and spooky Halloween sounds.
On social media, Reese's wants to hear from fans to know where to send the Trick-or-Treat Door.
