This Temporary Structure Changes the Front of a Lighting Studio

Mahsa Vanaki's temporary structure design is a portable façade that was designed for an event at a lighting studio. Since there were restrictions that prevented the Looma lighting studio from making any permanent changes to the front of the building, this called for a design that could easily be set up and taken down without doing any damage.

When it's not illuminated from behind, the structure looks dream-like and cloudy, featuring a repeated diamond pattern. When it became night, an interactive LED light show completely changed the tone of the structure, causing it to shift colors from pink to green to blue. This is a clever way to create a completely new experience for a space that's familiar.
