Kerry Tastesense Advanced Works with Low and Zero-Sugar Products

The Kerry Tastesense Advanced range of sweeteners is a series of solutions that could help to greatly enhance the low and no-sugar product market by achieving great flavor with sustainability benefits to boot. The products are positioned as an affordable alternative to both sugar and stevia, and features plant-derived ingredients with a reduction in water and carbon emissions by 45% and 30%, respectively. The sweetness are also reported to have optimized flavor with a reduction of off-notes and a better mouthfeel.

SVP of Technology and Innovation for Taste Ian McGarvey spoke on the Kerry Tastesense Advanced range of sweeteners saying, "We are excited to introduce our new Tastesense Advanced range that addresses sweetness optimization and delivers high levels of sugar reduction, reaching beyond 50%. This new solution is more advanced compared to single ingredient solutions, offering added benefits across sustainability, taste and health."
