Kerry Launches Botanicals Extract Designed for Mocktails

International food and nutrition company Kerry has announced the launch of Botanicals Collection Zero 2.0, a new line of botanical extracts designed specifically for use in non-alcoholic beverages. The unique botanical distillates contain zero percent ethanol, allowing alcohol brands to use the "0.0%" alcohol claim reliably.

The new range of extracts includes a range of fruity, floral, and spicy flavors derived from ingredients such as rosebuds, passionfruit, elderflower, black pepper, cocoa, caraway, and coffee. In addition, thanks to Kerry's proprietary, ethanol-free production process, the Botanicals Collection Zero 2.0 boasts a highly stable taste and texture free of haze and sedimentation.

"Increasingly, consumers want the upscale experience of the glass, ice, and taste—simply without the alcohol content. The Kerry Botanicals Collection ZERO 2.0 portfolio delivers a premium drink that tastes great," explains Francis De Campos Ferreira, Global Taste Portfolio Director for Selected Extracts at Kerry.
