Bento Box Architecture

Process5 Designs the Takagi Industrial Co. Office

Takagi Industrial Co was looking for a head office that conveyed a sense of what the company stands for, and what it's about. As such architectural firm Process5 created a space with the inspiration of a Bento Box.

To realize this effect, "the architects have decided to open up the two external walls of the construction towards the outside," as stated on DesignBoom. The aim for this is to provide the same emotion for onlookers as they are about to open a Bento Box, with that anticipation of excitement to learn more about what's inside. The glass facade achieves this, and extends all the way from the floor to the rooftop.
