The SUTIL Table may look like a diving board to the unseasoned eye, but if that were the case, it would be a diving board fit for royalty. Made out of carrara marble and carbon fiber, Olympic Gold Medalist David Boudia wouldn't even think of launching from it. Since the SUTIL Table is simply a piece of cantilevered furniture, that would be a good judgement call.
Created by Cla Tschenett, a designer based in Switzerland, the SUTIL Table has an organic feel to it. The marble base curves upwards to clasp the tabletop almost like a pair of bent arms. The SUTIL Table made its debut at the 100% Design show as part of the London Design Festival. The sculptural lines certainly caught many people's attention.
