The Stivoro Campaign Asks People 'What are You Giving Up?'

The Stivoro campaign is intriguing from the get-go. To some, each print ad may look like a pixelated digital art piece or a push pin painting, but in reality, they are made out of cigarettes. Sending a strong message, the Stivoro campaign asks people, "What are you giving up?" It then answers it for them. For instance, the pyramid poster is made up of 7,498 cigarettes, which equates to about a year's supply. According to the Stivoro campaign, "You can get a round-the-world ticket for the same price."

Created by Iris, an ad agency based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the Stivoro campaign was art directed by Glenn Doherty. The visual effects were executed by Rolf van Slooten, Bas Siemons, Edwin Veer and Peter Witte.
