'Sounds on Snapchat' Allows Users to Add Music to Their Clips

To keep up with the music integration features on TikTok and Instagram, Snapchat announced that it would be brining its own version of in-app music compatibility to its platform with 'Sounds on Snapchat.'

The newly added feature allows users to browse through an extensive catalog of songs, or search for the specific song they're looking for. Once they find the soundtrack that they'd like to pair with their clip, they can choose to add it while they're filming, or afterwards. The feature works in all posts, whether users to choose to add it to their Story or share it directly. When the clip is received, users can click on the 'Play This Song' link that will take them to the streaming platform of their preference.
