Taxidermy-Style Sheep Cabinets

This Salvador Dali-Inspired Artist Makes Unusual Sheep Drawers

Taxidermy is one of the weirdest things to do to animals, and these sheep cabinets take the strange behavior even further. These sheep cabinets are actually dead sheep which is beyond weird, but if taxidermy is going to happen anyway we might as well get furniture.

Oscar Tusquets was heavily inspired by Salvador Dali for this piece and references his image, the "Interpretation Project for a Stable-Library." In the image, the sheep cabinet is on the left side (there are lso other random sheep related things in the picture).

The series is in conjunction with Deyrolle and will feature 21 taxidermied sheep to create the cabinets. There will be 20 white sheep in the collection with just one black sheep. We’re not entirely sure who will be buying the cabinets, but whoever does will have themselves a very unique piece of furniture.
