LaRue Architects and Kelle Contine Renovate the Rollingwood Modern

Local design studio LaRue Architects joins forces with interior designer Kelle Contine to renovate the Rollingwood Modern, which was originally finished in 2015 by the same studio. It was named after the location and the style of the building, located in the Rollingwood neighborhood in Austin.

The original owners have sole the home and looked back to the original team to renovate with the help of Kelle Contine Interior Design to bring a refreshing new touch to the interiors. The design team explains the project to Dezeen, noting that "The inspiration for this home was a simple farmhouse feel with gable-like forms incorporated with the lower roof wrapped around the courtyard to connect the separated farm volumes." They reference the boxes that are cantilevered along the perimeter of the home.
