In a studio apartment with limited square footage, it can be tough not to feel a bit cramped and confined to a single space, but 'Riviera Cabin' is designed to help its resident avoid that feeling. The apartment's interior uses a clever system of doors and dividers to create a few different (albeit small) rooms throughout the space, adding variability and storage space.
The layout of the apartment includes a small recess on the right side, and that section is meant to hold the resident's bed. The original apartment was entirely open concept, however, leaving the bed fully visible to the rest of the unit. Design studio 'llabb' added an artificial wall between that bedroom recession and the main living area, creating an extra room in the process. The wall is a few feet deep as well, which clears space for a walk in closet and a raised working area.
