Warehouse-Styled Lofts

The Redchurch Loft Combines a Raw Sensibility with a Classic Elegance

Studio Verve designed the 'Redchurch Loft,' a series of lofts styled to look like polished warehouses.

Located in Shoreditch, the lofts feature open spaces, cloud ceilings and terraces overlooking the street after which they were named. The bespoke concrete walls and cloud ceilings offer height, fluidity and ambient lighting throughout the loft, creating what the architects refer to as a "theatrical spatial experience." This is especially true in the bathroom, where the curved concrete is set against the white stone bath.

To add contrast to the interior, the architects chose concrete wall panels against white oak fin walls and floors. This contrast is indicative of the balancing act that the architects achieved with each loft; indeed, they are the perfect combination of elegance and grit; raw yet polished, fluid yet coarse.
