American sub sandwich chain Quiznos has teamed up with Crypto.com and The NFT Agency to launch the 'Out of this World' NFT collection. The new collection will consist of an array of digital "sandwich coins" that will be available for purchase for 24 hours on The NFT Agency's online marketplace.
For its first foray into the world of non-fungible tokens, Quiznos has opted to donate all of the proceeds from its one-day sale to a non-profit organization centered on fighting hunger in communities and countries in crisis. All the digital pieces have been designed by Sameer Baloch, a 3D digital artist from Oman. They will feature various astronaut-like figures embarking on their respective journeys through the crypto galaxy.
"This is an exciting opportunity for digital coin collectors to pair their love of the planet, unique art, and our boldly-flavored food with an act of generosity for the global good," said Mark Lohmann, President of REGO Restaurant Group, which owns Quiznos.
