Contemporary Pulque Branding

A Studio Created a Modern Brand Concept for This Traditional Drink

The creative agency Hi estudio designed the packaging and branding concept for the traditional Mexican drink pulque.

Pulque is an alcohol beverage that has been traditionally made in central Mexico. It is made from the fermented sap of the maguey plant and has a thick consistency with a sour, yeast-like taste. This brand, Pulque Mentor, was inspired by the Aztecs, who once drank the alcoholic beverage and reserved it for "the highest social classes". As a result, the branding concept is highly modern and sophisticated, with neutral colors and minimal labeling making it stand out.

This pulque drink fuses a traditional drink and inspirations with contemporary design ideals to create a product that stands out from most others on the market.
