The 'PowerOn Pilot' Program is Retraining Those on a Work Hiatus

Young & Rubicam is aiming to help those experiencing a five-year career gap find meaningful work in advertising through its formal 12-week program, 'PowerOn Pilot.'

The program recognizes that a variety of factors, from child care to health recovery, can play a role in one deciding to leave their current position in hopes to retrain and eventually accumulate employees back into the workforce when they're ready to do so. The immersive program offers hand-on training, in addition to a series of guest speakers and mentorship programs to teach those on a current work hiatus of the recent developments in the advertising field.

An added benefit of the program is that about 80% of attendees can be hired through one of the seven Young & Rubicam agencies.
