Upcycled Ancient Architecture

Japan's Plus House Channels Syles from Centuries Past

I love me some ultra modern architecture. I love it especially when said architecture maintains its pure, plain futuristic form, while allowing for some seriously ancient throwback touches like the Plus House designed by Mount Fuji Architects Studio.

Located on Japan’s main island of Honshu, this weekend escape keeps it all white, and very angular. The exterior is all white marble (the ancient throwback) that reflects the blue of the Pacific ocean that Plus House overlooks.
