The Olympic Shooting Venue by Magma Architecture Reflects the Sport

The Olympic Shooting Venue by Magma Architecture features a suction cup facade sure to impress sport spectators. The linear structure is infused with color-infused knobs that give its exterior an air of energy and fun meant to reflect the spirit of the shooting sport.

The Olympic Shooting Venue is made up of three volumes that are coated in a PVC membrane. While some of these red, turquoise and pink holes provide the space's interior with ventilation, others serve as user entrance ways.

Created for the Olympic Delivery Authority, this temporary structure by Magma Architecture firm has been designed with sustainability in mind. Proving multifunctional and versatile, this architecture piece will be reused for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and afterwards recycled.
