Contemporary Modular Storage Units

Freaks Architecture Places an Arched Storage Unit as a Divider

A beautifully arched modular storage unit is used to divide the layout within the La Tournette apartment in Paris, France. The space, which was previously a workshop, is to be used intermittently by the previous owners — a couple of retired architects. The firm, commissioned for the design overhaul, was Freaks Architecture.

The studio believed in customizable arrangements as the epitome of good design. Hence, the modular storage unit is installed in a central position. The placement, the rotating base, and the features — one of which includes a fold-out dining table, allow the piece to be incredibly handy. Freaks Architecture's arched volume surely satisfies the need for versatility and contemporary aesthetic within the context of the Parisian apartment.
