Separated Volume Architecture

The Mecanoo Structure in Shenzhen is Made up of Four Sections

The architecture firm Mecanoo has started on building a structure in Shenzhen, China, which is made up of four distinct volumes. Each volume is colored with a vibrant red hue that makes the cultural center stand out even more.

The center will offer a number of different activities, "containing a public art gallery, a science museum, a youth center, and a book mall spread over five expansive storeys," according to DesignBoom. As such many people will be able to come here and spend a whole day exploring the different sections of the building without running out of activities to do.
