Massimo Nodari Builds the 'Casa Bertelli' in Italy

The Casa Bertelli in Italy by Massimo Nodari takes on an interesting shape, consisting of two cantilevered rectangular sections. The house sits on a mountainside, which is why it had to be built in this irregular fashion.

Although some people might look at this as a challenge, Massimo Nodari saw it as an opportunity to play with these shapes, and as such came to an impressive result. The outside of the house is colored mostly in white, with a timber section too for an added distinct touch. Plenty of sunlight is able to enter the abode, especially with certain skylights placed strategically throughout the house to maximize this effect. This abode certainly takes a top spot in terms of dream homes located in the country of Italy. Photo Credits: designboom, digilander.libero.it
