KOT Architects Develops a Neutral Palette for Dior's Showroom

Luxury brand showrooms are always an adventure in design as professionals aim to reflect the ethos of the company while also creating an eye-catching and welcoming space. Most recently, the design studio KOT Architects embarked on the visual aesthetic for the French fashion label Dior. Located in a new building in Tel Aviv, the floor plan includes both the luxury brand showroom and Dior's offices.

KOT Architects embraced a mostly neutral color palette, featuring beige and white colorways, and curved shapes in the interior. This was meant to amplify the coziness of the space. Subtle material contrasts were accented in the space—for example, the concrete floor balances well with plywood furniture pieces like the curved bookcase. As its strategy, KOT Architects approached the space "as a home." The layout even connects an open-plan kitchen to the showroom.
