Interactive Bubbly Installations

Atmeture by Loop.pH Looks as Though It Breathes

Loop.pH describes itself as a 'London based spatial laboratory.' Although that might not be very self explanatory, Loop.pH's latest installation is the perfect example of what it creates. Dubbed Atmeture, it is a large pavilion-like creation that could easily be likened to a series of oversized suds. In reality, Loop.pH made it out of vitreous, inflatable membranes and a system of air pumps that circulating smoke in order to make it look like it breathes.

Viewers are invited to walk through the Loop.pH's Atmeture in order to fully experience the living artwork. As written on Beautiful Decay, it is essentially "an ephemeral luminous architectural tunnel that draws visitors into an open and animated form woven from lightweight fibres." Loop.pH debuted it at the Fire & Fright Festival in Letchworth, New York.
