Lark Distillery Has Launched a Luxury Whiskey Experience in Tasmania

Australian whiskey maker Lark Distillery has annouced the launch of 'The Still,' a premium whiskey bar located in the heart of Tasmania. The new venue, which is set to open its doors in Spring 2022, will feature a collection of over 150 locally made whiskeys.

The company intends for the new whiskey bar to be a thoroughly immersive experience. Visitors will enter the space through a 'Whiskey Hall of Fame,' stopping by a retail and tasting section where they can enjoy premium cocktails curated by Niall Maurici and Campbell Nicol -- two of Hobart's most highly regarded bartenders.

Patrons will also be treated to fragrant aromas made from a local perfumer as they sit and enjoy their drinks on hand-made furniture made by Hobart designer, Scott Van Tuil.

"Whether you are newly curious or extremely passionate about the Tasmanian spirits community, this space will be the perfect jumping off point for your exploration into world-class, local whisky," said the Head of Hospitality at Lark Distillery, Dan Knight.
