The King's College Chapel in Cambridge is home to a unique art project titled 'Dear World...Yours, Cambridge.' The installation is an illuminated light-projected display of an intoxicating stray night sky.
Mexico-based artist Miguel Chevalier designed and launched the installation, which aims to boasts the chapel's views on combining old and the new -- the spiritual and scientific.
The installation projects various scenes and immersive imagery that goes beyond the stars. There are images of books to highlight the University of Cambridge. There are also leaves, moving pictures such as flowers, coat of arms symbols and abstract artworks. The installation will be paired with speeches given by renowned professors and alumni during a fundraising event at the King's College Chapel.
