The JJO House Immerses Residents into the Brazilian Forest

Brazil-based architeect Arqbox created the JJO House in collaboration with Estudiograma. The house is located in the depths of a Brazilian forest, immersing the architecture into lush surroundings.

The house sits on top of a steep slope, with a garage, workshop and a walkway that connects the structure to the main house placed slightly down the hill. The main living area is enveloped in a glass showcase, giving a view of the surrounding treetops in each room. The bedrooms sit on the ground floor, with large windows offering views of the forest floor. The rooftop terrace offers a luxurious outdoor living space, on top of the raw concrete, glass and steel structure.

The JJO House connects every aspect of the home into different layers of the forest.
