Jean-Pierre Lott Creates the Bagnolet Town Hall in Paris

Jean-Pierre Lott is responsible for creating the Bagnelet Town Hall in Paris, and has gone with an unconventional structural design. Large slabs of material protrude out from the building, but instead of looking sharp and angular, Lott has gone with a smoothed-out, curved look.

The building also comes with an area for pedestrians to walk, as well as garden areas for people to relax in. For a town hall, the building has a few upscale amenities. The lobby area is massive space, and a large atrium is situated in the middle, which is seen from every level of the building. To keep with tradition, the old town hall was kept intact, with a bridge connecting the old structure with the new one. Photo Credits: designboom, jplott.fr
