Toronto's her-people Curates Experiences for Connection & Creativity

Despite being filled with people and things to do, large cities can be incredibly lonely and some start-ups and projects are developing creative solutions to tackle social isolation in young people—her-people is helping to bring women in Toronto together for shared experiences, connection and creation.

Those in Toronto, the most populous city in Canada, can meet like-minded women through once-weekly gatherings, which unfold over the course of four weeks. For the month of February, her-people has devoted Tuesdays throughout the month to calligraphy, a DIY apothecary project, an introduction to watercoloring and a book club discussion, with all of the necessary supplies, materials, snacks and refreshments included for the price of $195.

To nourish new friendships in a comfortable setting, her-people caps each of its curated experiences at 15 attendees.
