Interactive Hammock Installations

This Art Installation Will be Featured at the Panorama Festival

This experimental hammock installation creates a relaxing and interactive musical experience.

The piece was created by Dave Rife and Gabe Liberti, who are experts in sound, with the two previously having the occupations of "expert in architectural acoustics" and studio engineer respectively. The two partnered up and became "Dave & Gabe" and their hammock installation is one of the pieces they created together. Entitled 'Hyper Thread,' the art installation offers a unique experience, with participants entering a "silk-clad dome" that offers a quiet space. There are silk hammocks within the dome that contain sensors that detect music and when participants swing in them, one of the seven songs playing on a loop is modified by the participants' movements.

This interactive art piece will offer a refuge for people who want a quiet break from the upcoming music and technology festival 'Panorama.'
