The Guntu hotel is a floating vessel that allows guests to explore the Setouchi Inland Sea like never before, while enjoying all the amenities of a traditional luxury hotel. Featuring 19 guest rooms, the Guntu floating hotel offers amenities such as a gym, beauty salon, bar, cafe, dining room, sushi bar and even a large public bath.

The Guntu hotel offers stopovers at small islands peppered throughout the region in order to ensure that guests can take full advantage of the expansive area. The Guntu floating hotel offers cruises between one and three nights in length with all of the itineraries starting in Onomichi. A standard room is priced at 300,000 yen per night, which converts to roughly $2,700 USD with operations beginning in September 2017.
