Grigory Gorkovenko Creates a Striking & Ultra-Functional Product

Debuted during Dezeen's Virtual Design Fair, 'Homo' is a glass sculpture that was built by Russian creative Grigory Gorkovenko. For the silhouette, the designer used more than 50 glass spheres and hemispheres that are multi-colored, creating a playfully whimsical aesthetic. Aside from the appearance of the glass sculpture, however, the piece is also hyper-functional as it combines three things into one attention-captivating object.

Grigory Gorkovenko's design can function as a clock, a light, and a vase. The components of the glass sculpture are fully modular, allowing individuals to play with its shape and arrive at a structure that appeals to them and their space—from a chandelier or a vertical flower display to a combination of the two.
