Artists Tveteras and Lars Marcus Ve created this giant 50 Euro coin, which they have used to take some photos that have crazy proportions. After creating the over-sized replica in the studio, the pair of artists placed it against a car, on a phone booth, and beside a shopping cart, among other things.
The resulting photos show a fun and playful side because of the silliness and optical illusion-like nature of the photos. These captures also touch on some more insightful themes too. Money has become such a big part of things that it is literally taking over other parts of life. The size of the money is simply making the Euro as big a deal in photographs as it is in people's lives.
With little info on their blog, we can only hope to see work like this from these artists in the future.
